On Thursday, March 14th, we visited Barta'a with our teacher David Mendelsohn. Barta'a is a city that was cut in half after 1948.
This blog will tell of my experiences studying Arabic in Israel/Palestine during 2013 and 2014. I identify with the concept of the "wandering jew" because I like to travel and have never quite felt 100% at home anywhere. Although raised half Jewish in the Reform Style, I like the term "jewtheist" since I embrace Jewish values in a secular sense but do not necessarily believe in a Holy Bearded Guy Sitting In The Sky.
