This past weekend, I visited Haifa with my classmates Rebecca and Milad. We went to the Bahai Gardens. The Bahai religion started in the 1800s and promotes values of justice, tolerance, and peace. Their international headquarters are in Haifa. For more info on the religion, visit the Wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bahá'%C3%AD_Faith
Haifa is known for being a working-class, industrial city, but despite the grittiness, I came across a lot of lovely street art.
Haifa is also a fairly "mixed" city, meaning there is a considerable population of both Arabs and Jews.
