But in this post, I'll write about what we did today. We visited our teacher Meriav's kibbutz. We met her father, Uri, a professional blacksmith. One thing I do love about Israeli bluntness/rudeness (depending on how you want to view it) is that Israelis tend to say what's on their minds, and Uri is an elderly gentleman who doesn't mind cursing! LOL. Then we hung out at our teacher's home and made a delish veggie dinner, and met her daughter who is an AWESOME artist.
This blog will tell of my experiences studying Arabic in Israel/Palestine during 2013 and 2014. I identify with the concept of the "wandering jew" because I like to travel and have never quite felt 100% at home anywhere. Although raised half Jewish in the Reform Style, I like the term "jewtheist" since I embrace Jewish values in a secular sense but do not necessarily believe in a Holy Bearded Guy Sitting In The Sky.

Visit to Ein Shemer
So, today we got back from our Pesach vacation...I wish I had been able to write down all my experiences during it! Maybe I'll write bits of what I remember...more photos to follow from Pesach.
