A wandering jewtheist

This blog will tell of my experiences studying Arabic in Israel/Palestine during 2013 and 2014. I identify with the concept of the "wandering jew" because I like to travel and have never quite felt 100% at home anywhere. Although raised half Jewish in the Reform Style, I like the term "jewtheist" since I embrace Jewish values in a secular sense but do not necessarily believe in a Holy Bearded Guy Sitting In The Sky.

Berlin, Day 8

Went to Potsdam today with a new friend from Couchsurfing, the Turkish engineer. We are staying with the same host. Potsdam is a town outside of Berlin; you can see original architecture there. Unlike Berlin, it was not very damaged during WWII.
